The 3rd Coffee Symposium will be organized by the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Toros University on August 27, 2025.
Although it grows in tropical climates and mountainous plateaus, coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages worldwide. The stimulating effect of coffee, first discovered through fermenting coffee beans with water in Ethiopia, has been known since ancient times. Being a first in its field, the third symposium will be held online on August 20, 2025. The symposium is significant for examining coffee’s place in global and Turkish gastronomy culture at a scientific level.
